Intention Statement

Prior to making the decision to return for my masters degree, I made a promise to my now deceased grandmother, that I would pursue my passion for music and healing people as my life’s task. I also promised her that I would do my best to live my life with no regrets and have the confidence to go after my dreams no matter what. I can proudly say that I am turning that promise into a reality.

So, about three years ago I had a moment of clarity while working on an assignment for my project and portfolio two class. I realized what my purpose on this earth is and began to figure out how I could best achieve it, which was healing disabled veterans from the grips of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I want to proceed with a holistic approach to healing via sound waves, or better known as sound bath healing. By providing my healing services to veterans free of charge and service them through the many V.A. hospitals around the nation.

This brings me to what I hope to achieve in the next 12 months with my mastery journey. During my undergrad this business idea was the focus of many class projects, however I never pursued them further, until now.   Through a lot of trial and error I want to grow as an entrepreneur and become a sound healing expert. I want to keep learning new techniques to improve upon my mastery. I know the journey will be long and difficult, but I feel as though I am ready for the challenge. I’m excited to be sharing in this experience with my fellow classmates and instructors as I feel we will all learn something from one another.
